And he is good. He sounds a little more upbeat than last time. He is still really ready to get going. He wants to set up his routines. (If you know Cade, you know he likes to have some structure throughout his days.) He is concerned about all his friends here at home and I think it is a little tough for him to think about life going on as usual here.
He is really excited about some new camo they are getting when they leave. He was going to try to go to recovery school, but they didn't make the deadline for it. (I am not crying over this.) He did find out that mechanics do go out on most of the convoys and he was glad about it. (I AM crying over this.)
Overall he seems pretty grounded right now. I am so proud of him. Sterling and I have spent many a sleepless night discussing our concerns for him. We want him to know that we are here for him and support him and his brothers 100%! We pray for his safe return.
We love you Cade!
